Interview with Aaron Brazell on Social Media

Very excited that I had a chance to speak briefly with Aaron Brazell of b5media, the author of technosailor.com. He shared a little bit about the background and history of b5media, and his contributions in building the technology that the company is built on.

Aaron feels that twitter is one of the stronger social tools out there. He recommends for the technical crowd digg and mixx. Also tells an interesting story about a photographer friend who didn’t think twitter applied to his profession at all, until he stumbled into a photographer circle in twitter, which really opened his eyes.

For developers who are being approached by clients to develop new social tools, he recommends taking a close look at mobile social tools as well as meta-social services like friendfeed.
